Want to sell house bought on contract

We took possession of our newly constructed house in June 2007. Now we are getting divorced. We bought the home on contract from the builder. Is there any way we can sell the house ourselves? Neither one of us will be able to afford it after the divorce and we don't want to lose the equity (approx. $32,500) that we have in it.

Depending on the language of your purchase agreement, you should be able to sell the home yourselves, then pay off the builder at close of escrow. Contact a realtor to assist you. Good luck.
