sherrif sale

My friend has been served papers as her house is in foreclosure and is already set for a sherrif sale on March 5. How long can she stay in the house after it is sold at the sale? Also, can she stay in the house if no one bids on her house?

If sold at the sale, the sheriff can theoretically boot her on March 5. If not sold(very unlikely), then it will be set again for a sale.
