Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

I am the signer on an auto loan, (I was made signer, because I had a residence). The purchase was actually for the co-signer, that was living with me at the time of purchase...She has since disappeared with the vehicle, and is not making payments. Do I have any recourse?

You probably have a right of contribution and indemnification against her, depending on what agreement you signed between you and her. However, if she's gone and hasn't made payments, she's probably non collectible. Hopefully, you had your name put on the title, which will make it difficult for her to transfer good title without your participation.
