Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

I sold a house in Indiana six years ago, not on contract but out and out sold through a title company. Now six years latter the home owners have gone Bankrupt, the bank, BOA is now suing me for the mortgage they owe, and their electronic deposit company, have summons me, my son excepted the letter, I'm deployed and in Afghanistan, what are my options besides him telling them he has no power of attorney.

You need to have an attorney file an answer for you immediately. No judgment can be rendered against a person in military service if the court is properly informed. You can't be sued for the mortgage that any buyers owe, unless you co-signed or unless you had any part in it. An attorney needs to review all of the facts and documents for you. Good luck!
