Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana
I was suppose to be renting to own a house from my sisters boyfriend . I they was told that i just have to pay the payment and because was family i didnt think it would be a problem they said we would sign some papers later we moved in and did all the work cause the house was not liviable we had to do alot of work and now he is trying to evict us and not give us nothing on all the work weve done what if anything can i do?

Presnet your veidence in court about exactly what he was supposed to "give you" in rent forgiveness in exchange for this work, and NEVER assume you will get such credit again without a written agreement, no matter who you are dealing with.
I agree with Jay. get a ll of your receipts together for materials, before and after pictures would help also, as well as testimony from others who know what happened. You should also seriously consider lawyering up and hiring counsel.
