Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

Hi, my name is sylvia and I have this question. We just rented a house in July 2010 and our Landlord had it up for sale but informed us that he was taking it off the market since we are renting it. At the end of Aug.2010 I get a phone call from Realtor asking to show the house , Yes I was upset but I told him sure. We have a yr lease , now do we have to move and or can we make the new owners or our landlord pay us for the remainder months left on our lease if they want us to move .

Our landlord said something about if we have to move if it sells he would give us a couple months free of rent. I was also wondering , our rent is due the day after they show the house, now should we go ahead and pay that anyways or wait to see if we have to move or is that something I need to discuss with our landlord?

What are our rights as tenants for sure. I have heard so many different ideas but I need to know the correct right for tenants in State of Indiana . Our show date is Sept. 2,2010 and we are to pay rent Sept.3,2010

Thank you

sylvia
