Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

Can an unlicensed agent or assistant write a valid real estate offer for a client? Can that same unlicensed agent give advice, encourage the client to sign extensions and refuse to write counteroffers requested by the client? Can the client legally void himself from a contract if he did not know the agent was unlicensed at the time the offer was made?

Anyone can write a real estate offer or make counteroffers--it doesn't require an agent. If you are going to cancel, break or void a contract, there are certain steps to take. It would be best to have an attorney do it for you correctly.
