Something sounds strange here. Hire an attorney. Let me explain why.

Real property ( a house, towhhouse, condo) does not have a title. Evidence of ownership is contained in a document called a deed. A deed is recorded in the county recorders office. It is a public record. All you have to do is go to your local county building and pay a small fee for a copy of the deed. Regarding the foreclosure, the lawsuit that resulted in the foreclosure is also a public record available at the county courthouse.

It seems very strange to me that the bank is saying that they cannot find "title".

Getting back to your question, if all the proper paperwork has been completed, title committments issued and all statutory requirements met, there is no legal reason in Indiana why a closing could not be completed sooner.
