Warranty Deed on sale of property in one state while owner lives in another.
My property is located in Indiana. I now live in Florida,but I have sold to a person in Indiana. Can I have a Warranty Deed executed in Florida or do I need an Indiana deed?

Facts: Property located in Indiana. I live in Florida. Sold to a person in Indiana.
Q.Can I have a Warranty Deed executed in Florida or do I need an Indiana deed?
A. You can execute the deed in Fl. but it must meet all the requirements of Indiana law for recording there. Call the recording dept. and find out their requirements or have an atty. in Indiana prepare the deed and send it to you for execution here and recording in Indiana.
