Legal Question in Traffic Law in Indiana
Dog struck by car at night, whose responsible for damages to vehicle
My dog was hit by a trailblazer, thankfully survived, but I was wondering if I would be responsible for the damages to the motorists vehicle? And if so is it something my homeowners insurance should cover? I live in Anderson, IN and to my knowledge there is no leash laws and I do know that in Indiana dogs are legally personal property.

I think you probably are responsible because your dog caused the damage. You may want to contact an attorney in your area.
