Legal Question in Traffic Law in Indiana

possible umlawful citation

i was comming home with my pregnant girlfriend and she felt sick so i decided i was going to drive the rest of the way. i missed my turn so i was going to do a K-turn but there was a car coming up behind me so i kept going. the car that was comming up behind me was a state sherrif and he followed me through four turns, four speed limit changes, and three stop signs. I made it all the way home, put my car in park, took the keys out of the ignition, and got out the car before the officer turned his lights on. Is there something illegal about this?

Re: possible umlawful citation

You didn't say what you were cited for, but there's nothing illegal about what you are describing. An officer doesn't have to stop you the exact moment he determines you violated a traffic law.
