Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

can an attorney deposit a settelment check into the law firms account insted of the clients trust account? the check has both the attorney and clints name. if he can why if he can't why not.

It is rare that a client has a trust account; law firms always have them. As to when he can or can't, more information is necessary about the specific transaction, but generally if he has authority from the client to accept a settlement, he can do so..
