Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

My aunt passed away 3 weeks ago (in Indiana). My uncle is the power of attorney and is taking care of her estate, since my aunt had no siblings, children, or husband. My father lives in Arizona. He wants to know how long it takes before the content of the Will is read.

Does my father need an attorney in Arizona to work closely with the Indiana attorney?

Thanks,

Valerie

Have your father call the attorney in Indiana handling the estate to see if he has any interest in it. There is no formal "reading of the will" in Indiana like you often see on television.
