Bill payment responsibility

I live in an apartment where my friend shot himself (accidentaly) who is responsible to pay this? The family of my friend or me because I live in the apartment?

I am sorry for the distress of your friend shooting himself, even accidently. Your friend, if alive, is responsible for his own actions. If he killed himself, then his estate is responsible. However, if you are a co-tenant on the lease, then the landlord could hold you responsible for all cleanup and repair expenses.
