Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

I am trying to buy house from siblings..mom passed away in July, found court document that had judgment lien from old hospital debt 1986..nothing from title search or credit report. the document states upon death they will take possession of home..I am administrator and have a lawyer, who is responsible to find out if this is still valid? I think the statute should have ran out. Also the original collection company has went out of business, and I called the new collection company and they don't have my mom's name or soc. # in their records they said they don't go back that far..is it clear and over? Lawyer says he thinks it's still valid and title co. is checking to see if I can buy.
