Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

I am buying a house from my aunt's estate. The house was in her husband's name and he left it to her in a will (he died 6 months ago, she died 4 months ago.) The executor just signed the final papers and took them to the lawyer who now has to take it before the court. Other than the time it takes for the lawyer to take it there, is there any other waiting period before it goes into my aunt's estate?

Even after the property is transferred into your aunt's estate, it has to be recorded (either deed or court order) with the recorder, assessor and auditor. In order to assure yourself of proper title you should have representation by counsel and a title policy should be ordered.
