Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

contents of checking account upon my unforeseen death

I am not yet divorced. I have 4 grown children. I have a private checking account-my future ex- husband is not on the account. If I were to die before the divorce were final how could I be sure that my eldest son would be able to take charge of my checking account and that the money would not go to my future ex-husband?

Re: contents of checking account upon my unforeseen death

The simplest way is to just put your son on the account with you. You can also designate to the bank who your account goes to in case of death usually.
