Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana
Dead fathers morgage
My father died in 2003 and I represented his estate. FInally the estate was irrsolveable and pretty much nothing got paid. I lived in his house until the bank took it back and I paid the hosue payments for a short time. I checked my credit report today and the forclosue is on my credit report. I never signed a note or had the hosue put i n my name. Is this legal?

Unless you signed a note or mortgage, then the foreclosure should not be in your name. Demand a correction from all the credit agencies and the reporting creditor. If they fail to make the correction, sue them for libel. Good luck.
