Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

My deceased father was namedin a will.

I was contacted today by a trustee of a will that was left to my deceased father. I am an illegitamate child, but definitely acknowledged as his son. Is there any chance that I am eligible to receive a share of the estate that was left to him? Thanks

I am unclear on whether the Will was your father's or you are writing about a Will that left money to your father. The bottom line really depends on what the document says.
