Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana
Estate Law
My wife's parents died in 1985 and 1986. Their estates have never been closed. There are three pieces of property and a mutual fund remaining in the estate. The attorney who has been handling this has submitted forged documents to the probate court and has listed himself as the ''owner of record'' on two of the pieces of property. We do not have the money to retain another atorney. What should we do?

Contact the Indiana Disciplinary Commission for assistance. Website provided. Also, many lawyers, including me, would confer with you for no charge and evaluate the case, and if it looks promising, take the matter on a contingency. Ask your local bar association for a referral to an attorney with experience in probate or property litigation. Good luck.
