Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

Estate

I retained an attorney to investigate some issues about my mothers estate. My 2 other sisters talked my mom into signing her savings into their names as benificiaey after it was in my name and I was appointed executor of the estate by the will. The will also stated it to be divided to all in equal. Then my lawyer died. He had a couple of people, not in his office, that was supposed to take his clients. We went to court and they are holding the money. Is there a time limit? What can I do as after 5 weeks I have not heard from anyone and can I recoupe any money paid as he had a $5000.00 retainer and has been paid $5,300.00 for what he did as I may have to get someone to at the least read all his notes if I get anoter attorney.

Re: Estate

First, you give no idea when all this happened. If it has been only 5 weeks since the hearing, I would say that time is not up for the court to do something.

With the facts you have given me, I see no way to recoup the money paid.

You do need to get an attorney as there seems to be a good deal of money here and you are not quite sure what is going on.
