Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

I own an estate sale company based in Fishers, IN. I want to work directly with lawyers and their clients.

We manage the valuing, pricing and sale of antiques, rare books, collectibles, fine art, furnishings, high quality household goods, jewelry and select vehicles. Were often able to take everything off a clients hands through a variety of services, so they are left without any worry. Whether its debt, death, divorce or downsizing - we are the solution to sell everything quickly, easily and profitably.

We would love to be the go-to resource for any type of client that may be in need of our services. We would work out some type of incentive for the lawyer. What could the incentive be?

Is this something lawyers would be interested in doing? Is it legal to offer a referral fee or percentage of sales, or would a lawyers only incentive be to help their client? How should I approach this? Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

The incentive would be a cash or percentage payment to the lawyer. However, this could cause a conflict of interest because then the lawyer is trying to serve both you and his original client(s) at the same time. So, financial arrangements with a lawyer might not be a good idea. You could try networking however. Perhaps you could make your services known to lawyers and ask for referrals and perhaps you could in turn occasionally refer a client to a lawyer.
