Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

Estates

My husband has a child from a previous relationship before we were married. Even though he was not married to the child's mother he does pay support. My husband and I have a daughter together. If my husband should die, would his other child been entitled to any property or money if they are not mentioned in our will?

Re: Estates

Depending upon how you and your spouse own your property there may be nothing for anyone except a surviving spouse to inherit. I would suggest if he does not want to leave any property to the child that he mention the child's existence in his will and then exclude any gift to the child.
