The PR for my mother's estate is my sister. she has done stupid things like turning down an offer because they used the Genesis program and she didn't understand it. she refused to let my brother and I who were interested in certain items in the estate like a snow blower, riding lawn tractor and her car have then because she said she ''wouldn't know how to do the math to take them out of our shares of the estate.'' We offered the amount on the inventory but she sold them for less to a car dealer and her brother in law! When she had the offer on the house it was discoverd the house had powder post beetles and she still haven't had them exterminated. She listed with another realator and didn't disclose them. She got a deal on the 4% commission she agreed on with him but consequently she is not getting any real advertisement. It was a year ago April when mom passed away and the estatet still isn't settled. They sent a statement to the Indiana Revinue Department and they questioned their figures, three weeks ago they sent further documentation. Lawyer says he can't close estate until they hear from IDR. My brother wants her held accountable for being remiss in her feduciary duties. He is worried if we sign checks we cant.
