Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana
My father passed intestate 2-13-2011 his estate was finally closed 10-25-2014, my brother (is older & out of state) is the personnel rep, we also have had no contact with each other for at least 4 years now! I received court papers last July pertaining to the closing of the estate and I know it closed in Oct due to looking up case on doxpop! My question is when should I receive my share that is in the court documents (my brother & I are the only heirs) do I have to do anything contact someone I assumed I would have info by now & don't know what I should do!

It's not necessarily certain that you inherit anything. It all depends on the assets, debts, how the assets were held and other factors. You would be entitled to see a copy of the inventory in the case. Your best bet is to hire your own attorney to look into this for you.
