father's estate

Father deceased after married to step-mother for 27years.If step-mother has not remarried, and is deceased, amd I entitled, along with step-brothers, to file claim of my Father's share of estate?

If your father has a will, the will controls. If your father did not have a will, you may

inherit under the laws of intestacy of your state. When your step-mother dies, you will

not inherit unless her will makes you a beneficiary.

Your rights are determined by your father's Will, if he had one, and if not, then by the law of your State. You are advised to visit with an estate lawyer in your community for answers to your questions.
