my grandfather has made my cousin`s girlfriend power of attorney over his estate. i have lots of tools in the shop that are mine. i have been told that if he would die and the tools were still in his shop they would be considered as his possetion and the power of attorney would have control over them. is this true?

This question has nothing to do with a POA or an estate. If you can PROVE they are yours instead of his, the tools would belong to you. The problem you will have is proving that; your word will not be good enough if there is a dispute. You should list those tools that are yours and have him sign an acknowledgement of that, assuming you have no other proof of who owns what. Or, keep your property with you.
