Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

My grandmother died and left her residence to be split between her daughter, son, and six grandchildren. I have been asked to sign a consent to sell form. I have not seen an offer on the house. If I sign this, am I giving away my rights to negotiate? If the other members agree on an offer, am I forced to accept the offer as well? Thank you

If you sign it, you may be waiving any rights to object to the terms of a sale. So you need to find out the details of the sale and these details should be set forth in the consent form. If you don't get all of the information that you need from the executor, retain your own probate trained attorney to review the materials for you.
