Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

My husband left a will, and left everything to me. One of his insurance policies that was 30 years old had his mother and fathers name of it as beneficiary. He thought he had changed it. He called and changed it in my name but all they changed was shares. Do I have any legal right to this money or not. I know he wanted me to have it, but his mother is going to keep it. I even paid the premium last year because my husband was sick then.
