Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana
My husband and I moved in with his father in his home to care for him. His father told us he would leave us the home in his trust. We live here without paying anything my father in law agreed to pay for everything and he did. He passed away and we found out that he has the house in the trust to be sold. We have been living here for a year in march. We were told about a homestead law and want to know what it is and if it applies in this case?

If by this you mean that you think that a "homestead law" will give you the home or its possession, than no, there is no such thing. You need to see a lawyer about possible litigation to enforce the agreement that you had with your husband's father, and that will take a review of the entire financial situation.
Good luck.
