Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

my mother passed away w/no will, 3 siblings and my sisters son is trying to move in the house and i havent even gone through the home yet.its only been 3 days ago that we buried her.dont want no one in there till we inventory it. me and my brother are executors. he says its ok for him to stay there. what can i do to prevent this ?

Tell him to leave. If he won't, call the police.

If you have been named executors by the court, you can have him expelled. If there was no will, I would be truly surprised if that really happened that quickly. Assuming it has not happened, you need to get to a lawyer who can filer the right paperwork to give you authority, and maybe even obtain a court order preventing anyone from being in the home.
