Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana
My mother passed away 6 years ago and there is currently an estate open to pay her credit card bills. The creditors are unwilling to dismiss the amount and have been waiting for the property to sell to collect. The property is paid for but we have been unable to sell the property because of the zoning and its location. What are our options to close the estate and be finished with this nightmare! We have had a couple of renters over the years that have not paid rent and destroyed the home and of course moved out and we cannot find their whereabouts now.

You need to discuss this with the attorney for the estate, or get a new one. This type of question can not be answered properly in this forum, other than to tell you that a competent attorney can give you alternatives for getting these things accomplished.
