Outstanding judgements against an estate

An estate to be divided three ways between two children of the deseased and three grandchildren of the deseased's dead son. Found an outstanding judgment against one of the grandchildren. Can we all lose our inheritance satisfying this judgement, or will just his part be taken?

Re: Outstanding judgements against an estate

If the judgement is against the Estate, then the Estate must satisfy it. If it is against an estate beneficiary, then that beneficiary must satisfy it, unless the judgement creditor has levied against the Estate. Consult with the attorney for the Estate to determine your exact course of action.
