Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana
I wish I hadn't renounced the will.
The will of my father was is in the courts. No hearings have been heard yet....the first one is this month. My family, taking advantage of me in my time of crisis of losing both parents, put a tremendous amount of pressure on me, both implied physical imtimidation, as well as financially by threatening me, to renounce the will, that I was the 85% heir to. The estate is valued at almost 2 million dollars. As I think about it, I realize that I should not have renouced the will. Do I have any legal recourse? By the way, the will was written in 1986. Thank you.

The time of death is more important than the date of execution of the will. If you have executed any document which renounces your right to an inheritance, you need to consult an attorney quickly to determine whether this can be revoked.
