rights to my home

do i have the rights to my house and property? my ex husband and i owned property together and in the divorce it stated if he was not able to pay mortgage it would go to me. we went back together a couple years later. he suddenly passed away a few months ago and had no will. i paid off the mortgage, so does this automatically name me as owner?

No, paying the mortgage does not make you the owner. If the deed was never changed, it will go by way of the deed. I suggest you take the divorce decree and deed to a lawyer. You may have something easily dealt with and you may have a disaster.
