Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

If someone says I can't run this anymore and you say I can help out and then the response you get is its yours then and you have wittnesess then does that count as a verbal contranct. And is a verbal contract legal in fulton county, indiana

Don't know what "running this" means, but verbal contracts can be legal. However, a promise just to give you something is usually not, unless you did or gave something in exchange.
