Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana

In the state of Indiana, is the spouse responsible for medical bills when all assets are in both names and nothing is in probate? I am told that because I signed consent for treatment, I am responsible. Is this true?

If you signed a document where you agreed to pay, then yes, you agreed to pay. I can't tell whether you did that without actually reading this "consent to treatment" you refer to.
