Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Indiana
Untrusted Executrix
My sister is a personal represtative in my mothers will.
I'm named co exuator do I have any rights to any say so about anything? she has been uncoopretive in giving me any information. she had told me and 3 other siblings that we have to pay for our mothers funreal cost which she said it was $4800. I called the funreal home and was told it was only $2400. also I gave my mother $1000 in cash just 2 days before she passed away to be used towards her unpaid bills. So she can die knowing some of her bills would be taken care of. The money is nowhere to be found. theres no money? I was told my mom spent it. On her death bed?
I'm thinking my sister is being dishonest about the money. embezzlement? that money should have been there added to her trust, assets. directed to her bills.Did my sister have that right to do whatever she wanted with It? and should she show me proof of where my mother had spent it?
Cause I spent most of my time (took time away from work 3 weeks) to help take care of my dying mother. I was there and I know my mother didn't go anywhere to spend it. she had to be cared for by 2 people at the end.I'm not sure where to go what to do and how to go about things. there is so much more untrusting instances I had with .

If the estate does not have an attorney, go get an attorney now. Do not wait, pause, or hesitate. As co-executor, you should are sister's equal. You should have copies of everything that was filed with the court (which would include a inventory of the assets).

You may have some rights and should seek the assistance of an Elder Care Attorney. Mary
