Will and Social Security number

A family member has requested my social security number. They said they wanted to include me in their will and needed my SS# in order to do so. I don�t buy it but wanted to be certain before responding to them. Is there any justification for requesting a social security number in order to include someone in a will?

No, a Social Security number is not needed to create a Will.
