Legal Question in Workers Comp in Indiana

I got hurt at work and thought I just pulled a muscle so didn't really think anything of it went on working thought it would go away. Well it didn't. So I reported it and went to the doctor the doctor took me off work. I called my HR person about being taken off work and asked if there was anything I could do in the company with a 10 lb weight plus other restrictions and was told NO. The workmens comp insurance company called me and took a statement over the phone and I told them what I done and why I waited and was told that I may not want to get medical attention until the lady called me back due to the company not paying for it. I waited to hear from them and nothing over 5 weeks I called them to find something out and was told they were waiting on my medical records its been 3 weeks I gave up went to the doctor to be released for work I have bills to pay and the company let me come back to work with a 5 lb weight plus other restrictions. the doctor put me on reduced hours as well. My doctor also sent me in for a MRI I told him I have to know what is wrong and why I am hurting so bad and I am seeing a specialist tomorrow for this. I want to know what my legal rights are?
