Legal Question in Immigration Law in Indonesia
Can non-U.S. citizen parent join U.S. citizen Child?
I am the legal guardian for a child who was born in the U.S.. His mother who was on a student visa when he was born is back in Indonesia. Is there anything I can do to have the mother join the child here in the U.S.?

Unfortunately, the US citizen child cannot petition the parent until the child reaches age 21. However, if the mother has other family here (e.g. US citizen sibling) or qualifies for a job via, then there might be hope. Determining this would require a consultation with an immigration attorney though. Email me if you have any questions. Good luck!
