Legal Question in Disability Law in Iowa
I have a signed contract for X number of hours every 2 weeks. my boss has rescinded that contract and is refusing to pay me for the amount of time I have worked. When asked about the contract and change, he said, "I don't need your signature on a new contract...and that's just the way it is". Thus I have been cheated since before August out of an average of 20 hours every two weeks. This is causing me undue stress (I also have been diagnosed with anxiety/panic disorder and was told he is also violating my ada rights. What do I do? I love what I do but I hate that I'm getting cheated out of so much money. he has also allowed a ridiculous amount of harassment in the office, so much so that I ended up in the hospital with a panic attack. he also allowed two women who work there to harass me and one threatened me physically. What do I do? I am clueless here!
