Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in Iowa
Appealing Abuse Registry Decision
I need some advice on appealing being placed on the Abuse Registry. My wife and I don't feel we should be confirmed and placed on the registry and we have a over the phone preliminary hearing and we're not sure what to do or how to do it.

Re: Appealing Abuse Registry Decision
You have to exhaust the administrative process before you file an appeal in court. Your first step is to file a request for correction under Iowa Code section 235A.19.
