Legal Question in Banking Law in Iowa
Can a bar in the state of Iowa charge a percentage of gratuity onto a tab that I had forgotten to close out at the end of the night?

The answer is probably not, but the bar may have a rule about that. Remember Iowa's a right to work state and you can be fired for any reason, good reason or no reason at all.
