Legal Question in Banking Law in Iowa
My brother has a lvehicle oan through a local bank. He was behind on payments and paying them what/when he could. They can demand payment on the collateral and collect that collateral, but they got a warrant to enter his garage and take things he had listed on a finicial statement. They have not collected the actual vehicles that they have the liens on. How can they get a warrant to take things that are not on paperwork as collateral?
