Legal Question in Banking Law in Iowa
I am from Iowa. I purchased a cashiers check and would like to take it back to the bank where I got it. I still have the check but have changed my mind about giving to the person it is made out to because we no longer have any type of relationship. Can I write NOT USED FOR INTENDED PURPOSE and have the bank put the money back in my account?
