Legal Question in Banking Law in Iowa

i am an iraqi citizen living in Baghdad. My brother and i have saving accounts with hsbc bank jordan. In 2004 i have transferred an amount from my brothers account to my account in accordance with power attorny. The transaction was proceeded by bank employee in a legal way. I askd the bank lady to give me receipt of transferred amount, she answered in case of transfer bank do not provide. After three moth i received my account statement not showing the amount transferred from my brothers account.

You legal advice is needed.

I do not know how I can be of assistance. It appears your problem is subject to Jordanian banking law because that is where the account is, and that is where the controversy lies. I suggest you contact a Jordanian attorney who can pursue this matter further for you, and best of luck.
