Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Iowa
my bank on friday took out 683.15 an gave it to the sheriff this was, ssi money they said it was gernishment for a court judgement.i am broke , can i get the money back? i have no lawer........

Yes, you can. Such funds are exempt from garnishment. You will need the assistance of an attorney to file the proper motions, however.
