Credit reporting of other person not in bankruptcy

I filed bankrucpty, which has been finished. My husbands credit report state he is in bankrucpt because both names were listed on the house we are jointly purchasing. How can we get his credit report corrected. The bank refuseses to

remove the information that was given to the credit reporting company of thier mistake. My husband pays the housepaymen and has never missed a payment or been late. What can I do to restore my husbands credit?

Re: Credit reporting of other person not in bankruptcy

If the credit report is inaccurate, the reporting company is obliged to correct it and notify all have seen the incorrect information. Failure to do so will give you rights of action under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
