Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Iowa
The day we filed our bankruptcy papers we received a new bill in the mail. On our list of creditors we listed a medical clinic visit. The new bill is for labwork subcontracted out by the medical clinic . Is this lab considered a new creditor or part of the original medical visit?

I would think that if the services were provided before you filed your petition, then that would likely be considered old debt. I suggest you contact your bankruptcy attorney and discuss the matter with them.
